Welcome to UCF Orientation! Upon admission to UCF, all undergraduate students (freshmen/FTICs and transfers) are required to attend an Orientation session. Our primary goal at Orientation is to assist students and their families with the transition to attending and experiencing UCF.
Please utilize the tabs above and select the student type and campus that corresponds to where you plan to enroll in classes to learn more about the Orientation registration process.
During Orientation, students work with advisors to plan out a class schedule, receive information on a variety of student services, explore ways to get involved with groups and events on campus, be introduced to academic policies and support services, and meet with new students (and make new friends!).
Students will have the opportunity to register for their first classes at Orientation, so it is helpful for students to review the Online Course Catalog and Undergraduate Catalog prior to attending, which can be found as part of the Before Orientation Checklist.
You are encouraged to register for and attend the earliest Orientation session possible! It will ease your mind knowing everything is in order and that you are fully prepared to begin your career at UCF. The earlier you respond to our invitation, the more likely it is that you will receive your preferred date.
We are very excited to serve you as you become acquainted with UCF and look forward to seeing you at Orientation. Please do not hesitate to contact our office if you have any questions!
